The world they had looked over was dead. Watching the lives that they had provided light and hope for be snuffed out one by one until even the land itself was eaten away by the Shade was painful... but now that it was over they could begin to heal.

Syndre and Syrania are the spirits of the orbiting bodies that had loved and lost an entire world of their own. Alone except for each other, they sought a place where they could begin anew. Somewhere, perhaps, where they would not have to be in charge of anything. They had loved and lost... and now they just wanted to be the ones taken care of.

Something drew the pair of them to Sornieth. Perhaps in apology for their pain, the universe thrust them into the smaller bodies they now inhabit. Though they look small and helpless, the spirits within the eternal children are far wiser and more scarred than most will ever know.

The pair of them were drawn to the elemental spirits of Chaotic Daydreams. Syrania and Syndre sensed the star material in the bodies of the clan guardians and knew that they had kindred on this world. For now, the duo of celestial spirits play the innocent and wrap themselves up in the love of others without having to be the ones taking care.

Perhaps someday they will find another world to watch over. But for now, the little ones will clutch their souls and learn what it is to be the ones taken care of and guided.
