"Rathunslaad does not admit this to many other dragons in the clan, but he keeps a small collection of crystals from the Starfall Isles. Celestine, pink chalcedony, almandine, morganite, rhodochrosite, and azurite; all stored in a little pouch that he keeps close at all times. While many of them are useful for weaving and storing arcane energies, he mostly keeps them to remind him of his birthplace in the Isles. Sometimes he will sit there holding them in his claws, teasing energies through them in swirling shapes, a game hatchlings in the Observatory learn early on.

He'll also gather up stones worn smooth by the river. He's not quite sure why he keeps these; he just finds the feel of them pleasing."
