Joka sadonkorjuun aikaan Mandrianan karjatilalla tarvitaan paljon auttavia käsiä. Kahdestaan naiset eivät yksinkertaisesti selviytyisi kaikista tilan askareista. Siksi lohikäärmepariskunta Moissonier ja Sügiseille auttavat, minkä ehtivät. He asuvat lähimpänä karjatilaa, sillä luonto on näille kahdelle kaikki kaikessa. Pariskunnan voisi jopa väittää pitävän Mandrianaa sekä Fraiseuellea perheenjäseninään, kuin omina tyttärinään. Niin läheisiä heistä on tullut toisilleen.
