Rine is plural. Their most common fronters are Lemon, Meringue, Pearl, Murin, and Bone. There are more in their system and they are fairly large, but they consider themselves the main five.

Their plague primal mutation spreads through their body. They have scars and swelling on their body, and their wings are torn.

Rine met Janus the Carmine Serthis when they were both hatchlings. The Serthis separated from her generation's sect after she decided to live alone and fight a dragon to establish her strength, but when Rine defeated her, she decided to change plans and become their familiar. Janus is ruthless, but can be a good companion, and the two have a good bond with Janus knowing everyone in Rine's system. Janus is skilled with poisons and mixes them.
