After living most of her life as a warrior, Talutah found it difficult to cope during times of peace. She had never enjoyed domestic life and instead grew impatient, waiting for the time when she would be called to the battlefield to defend her clan, waiting for the time when she would feel useful again… But instead of drawing nearer, that time drew farther and farther away. While her clan prospered and grew, Talutah retreated, unsure of what to do with herself. She was no huntress or healer, and had no desire whatsoever to care for hatchlings. Sitting around all day waiting for nonexistent enemies was a waste of time, and her clan didn’t seem to need her anymore. As she became more and more reclusive, she often felt that she was no longer part of a clan at all. So, one day, Talutah took to the skies and left her former clan behind. She would never find meaning or purpose in her life if she stayed. It was time to find a new clan, one that would value her skills as a warrior. It was time to put the past behind her… and look to her future.
