Grelle is a member of the Fire flight subspecies Flashfire Slaps and meets the specific genetic and coloration criteria set forth by that flight and/or the creator of the subspecies.




Lore
The basis of this lore was taken from one of sacrifice. A long time ago in the ancestors of my clan, the dragons used to sacrifice the youth to Mather in hopes of good fortune on the battle-field, food and wealth. They would caste the chosen into the hottest pits of lava pools so deep that it could rival the deep-sea trenches.
And yet Mather watched from afar as the years passed-by and she had finally had enough. The God rose from the fiery pits just as they were about to throw another into them. She clenched her fist as the hundreds upon hundreds of sacrificed souls shot up from the lava, swirling around her arm. As her palm open, she slapped one of the ancestors scarring their skin with the blazing heat. Entirely changing their appearance forever, the clan cowered, many of them hoping they would be spared. From then on they ended their crimes of sacrifice.
The dragon that was assumed ‘ cursed ’ was allowed to stay, for the clan found a strange beauty within the full-body scars. Allowing them to integrate with the feral dragons of the clan, they found their curse to be strangely dominant among the offspring. And thus began the lineage of Flashfire Slaps.
