Despair is the Captain of the Red Tide. She's a very dangerous and ruthless individual, especially when the safety of her crew is at stake, but deep down she's soft and kindhearted, though she's careful not to let it show. While her demeanor and reputation paint her as uncaring and merciless, Despair and her crew would never attack anyone unprovoked, and only target those who intentionally or selfishly cause harm without remorse.

  • Despair's ally, Spite, is second in command. The two of them make sure the ship and all its crew members are in tip-top shape
  • Ruthless demeanor, but has a secret soft side that is rarely seen
  • An expert at predicting her opponent's movements
  • Very physically strong and surprisingly agile
  • Has a cleaver and knows how to use it
  • Trusts her crew, and can be quite protective of them
  • Doesn't particularly enjoy getting wet, due to her natural aversion to water as a Ridgeback, but has long since overcome those base instincts, and is a strong swimmer
