Augus

Augus is one of the more pacifistic villagers in the Zephyr Steppes. What he lacks in strength and aggression, he makes up for his excellent tea-making and empathy. However, with empathy and compassion, anxiety and worry also accompanies close by. With the departure of both of his children, Nan and Leofrick, he grows increasingly paranoid for their safety. All he's heard of regarding the Wastes is nothing but bloodshed and violence, and often so does he think that one day he must raise an inexperienced claw to protect those that remain in the Village. It also doesn't help that Cromwell, a neighbor and an enemy of his, is nothing but violence and trouble, thus sustaining a lifetime rivalry with him.

However, he believes that the outside is not all bad. After all, how else would he have met Meavaem had he not gone out of the village temporarily to look for his first two children? Meavaem was but a hatchling when he found her freezing in the frigid outskirts bordering between the Starfall Isles and the Southern Icefield, and now he even considers her a daughter! Now, he mentors her in the ways of pacifism and tea-making, and even managed to teach her how to control tea without the use of Water magic!

He's grown proud of his new daughter, but even now, he wishes she could some day meet her other adoptive siblings. But for now, he must make sure that Cromwell isn't being a bad influence to her. Oh Crom...
