Lazuli

Born in the Hewn City, the darkness in a place meant to be light left an odd mark on the infant Lazuli. Instead of a gentle light like most other light dragons, Lazuli emits a harsh light when she uses her magic. She wandered for days among the Hewn City before deciding that it wasn't challenging enough for her to live in. She headed south until she encountered the desert of the Shifting Expanse. After hunting, her next move was to find a clan. She came across several before deciding to stay with this one. She is undoubtedly one of the strongest fighters of the clan, savage enough to hold her own with even the toughest shadow and plague dragons. She loves to fight, but her preferred opponents are members of the Beastclans, especially their leaders.

She is known and feared among the Beastclans as the Skullcleaver. Enough members of the Beastclans have fallen to her talons that mothers tell their children to behave or the Skullcleaver will strike in the middle of the night. The tale isn't an idle story to make the children behave; the skulls she adorns herself with are trophies from especially difficult battles. When Beastclan members see a brilliant blue speck in the sky, they all take cover. When she outgrows one skull, she discards it in her personal hoard and goes hunting for a new one. While Beastclan members undoubtedly fear the sight of her with a skull headdress, to see her without her headdress is an omen of certain death, for when she loses one skull, she immediately searches for a new one. Only the skulls of her absolute deadliest opponents have the "honor" of becoming her new headdress. Lazuli isn't a picky eater, but she prefers a challenge when she hunts.
