"O' Death, won't you spare me over another year?"
At midnight's shrouded affairs, an imperial broodingly sauntered forwards from the shadows of which the moon's light were forbidden to cast. Another fellow dragon, a spiral had impatiently curled up, sneering as the imperial inched forwards. "What took you so long, sire?" They snapped in a raspy tone. Their features grimaced, waiting for the response. The imperial narrowed it's luminous eyes and replied calmly, contrasted from the other's anxious demeanor. "Alas, I am never late. 'Tis only your perception of time that caused you to believe i'm late. Now, let's get this over with.." They spoke. Their voice sounded as if they were in the depths of a cave, each sound bouncing off of the cavern's walls.
The spiral sneered in response, their tail whipping down onto the dried ground beneath them, devoid of water. "Mmph, yes yes.. I understand. Now, I'll only have 10 years to live, ey, correct..?" They perked a brow, before the Imperial nodded gingerly. "Yes, you'd be correct. For this, i'll give you what you asked for." The imperial slowly blinked.
"Aight, just hurry up. I know you have 'yer business to do anyways." The spiral growled. The Imperial approached towards them, their eyes glowing an Arcane magenta, before extracting their life. In return, they had gifted them their wishes. "It has been done. I will see you rather soon. But, for now, I must take care of dragonkind." The Imperial spoke, before taking flight.
