.....“My head is hurting...” was Ley’s first thought. She remembers to be chased by some members of the organization, and to fall into the space…?
.....It’s confusing.
.....She fell. She knows it like she knows her own name. Ley. So, how could she still be alive? And where was she?
.....She looks around. It was a small room with stone walls and a lot of books on a huge bookcase, in front of it was a wooden table with a chair and more books on both furniture.
.....“You look better.” she heard a voice behind her. Instinctively, she jumps away from the voice and prepares to fight. For the first time she noticed the girl set on a chair next to her bed. The girl looked like a human but Ley could sense a power inside her. A dragon power. It doesn’t mean that she wasn’t from the organization. They will do anything to become stronger, including brainwashing, and with her eyes covered, it’s impossible to know if she was being controlled.
.....“Who are you? Where am I? Who knows that I’m here?” Ley was not sure if the girl is trustable but asking was the best way to discover if the organization got her.
.....“Answering you, I’m Gloriana and you are in the Kahzu Clan. To be specific, in my room and if anyone knows if you are here, well, all the clan knows that you are here. You almost fell on the castle tower and had some strange things behind you.”
.....“Strange things? Anyone gets hurt?” Ley doesn’t like to think that she could be responsible for any damage or injury. Or even death. The organization always found new kinds of weapons to use.
.....“Doesn’t need to worry, no one was hurt. Those things weren’t able to defeat us.” Those words caught Ley's attention. She was glad that no one was hurt because of her, but if they defeated the organization's weapons so easily, they might have some strong warriors. Could she get out of there without a fight? And if they fight, how many warriors will she need to defeat to escape? While Ley was thinking about her alternatives, Gloriana returned to talk. “I already said, you don't need to worry. It’s not like you’re our prisoner or something like that. You are free to go if you want.”
.....“How did you know what I’m thinking? Are a mind reader?” Ley returned to her posture to fight. She was able to use her berserk power to defeat that girl if needed. It will be dangerous, once she does not control it completely, but it's her stronger power.
.....“No. I only know the things, like I know that your falling would kill you and two members of my clan. Or like I know that you can’t defeat me even if you used your berserk power. ” This Gloriana was smiling. She was absolutely sure about that. Damn! That is dangerous. Probably, that's why she covered her eyes.
....."You're a seer."
....."Yes." No explanation. Nothing more, just a simple yes like this was a normal thing. Stay could be dangerous.
.....Cautious, Ley asked "Can I go if I want, right?"
....."Yes, you can go but are you sure that you want to leave?" Ley turns to leave but the question makes her stop in front of the door. "The clan already proves your value. We are stronger enough to keep you protected. So, why leave? Why take the risk?"
.....A chill ran down her spines. She looks to Gloriana who is so confident. Could the seer know what would happen if she left that clan?
.....“Will I die?”
.....“Maybe.”
.....Ley thought about it. She was not afraid to death. Death would be simple, would be an end.
.....After a while Gloriana continued to say “Or maybe, you wished to be dead. After all, in your case, are things worse than death.”
.....The organization, Ley’s mind screams. They will catch her. If this girl knows everything that will happen as she doubts, the organization will find her again. But, this clan shouldn’t be involved. How dare she think about staying with them when she knows that she will bring all this mess with her? They have nothing with the organization. This isn’t their fight. However, Gloriana implied that she was stronger than her, and she knows about the berserk power. Maybe, only maybe, this clan has or knows a berserk warrior. Could it be possible? Could they help her? If Gloriana is right, the organization will find her, but if she stays, they will find her either? Aghh. It’s so many unsolved questions. Ley wished to talk with her mother. She will know the answer for all this.
.....Ley looks again to Gloriana, this time she really focuses on her. She was stronger. Probably she was right about defeating her. Not only that, all this place has a stranger power. Will all the Kahzu’s members be as strong as her? Or do her visions give an advantage?
.....“You don’t need to decide now.” Gloriana took Ley out of her thoughts. She was on her side. “You are welcome to stay as long as you wish and you can leave when you want. As I said before. You are not a prisoner. Take your time. Your head was hurting, you said. I’ll leave, so you can rest as long as you wish. Don’t worry about it being my room. I’ve another place to stay while you rest. I will only ask you not to disturb the books.” and she left. Leaving Ley staring at the door.
