Aeneid is an elusive terror whose presence is often associated with tragedy. Rumors say that their origins were similar to that of the cuckoo, being an egg planted in the nest of two guardian dragons by an eldritch deviant. Over time, the spiral grew aggressively, their supposed siblings quietly disappearing from the nest. Their appetite grew until the parents became a meal, and are now chained to them as a pair of spirits.

The eldritch being serves as a warning to nesting dragons, that they should keep vigilant watch over their nest, lest they too become victim to a planted monster.
