Biography
Alwyn is the strongest of his siblings, and the most protective. He's been especially close to his brother, Sweetgrass, who was the first person he laid eyes upon hatching. Their mother, Itzel, believes he may have imprinted on his brother early and that his Search will not take him very far from home at all.
Mischievous with youth, the brothers love to prank their father and siblings. Their sisters tend to retaliate and the resulting scuffle often comes out with Alwyn the winner.
Alwyn likes stories about travelers doing away with evil and the power of friendship so when he does eventually leave home it will likely be in Search of adventure rather than a solely instinctual drive.
He becomes a merchant based in the Light realm where he gets involved with an Imperial, Trinka. Trink was born in the iceflats, but after a parent died, left as her kind often do when another dies. Trinka is fairly uninterested in parenthood, especially to any Imperial hatchlings the pair have, and is usually traveling the world. She returns enough that the offspring know her as their progenator, and to string Alwyn's overtrusting heart along for a season, before drifting off in another fit of wanderlust.
Alwyn treasures their time together because she was his first love, but knows he deserves better even if he struggles to internalize it. His children come with him on his selling trips and are close to their aunts, uncles, counsins, and grandparents.
He searches still, for new love, but is patient and generally quite happy with his life.
