Byte is a false deity of Lightning, the product of someone's failed attempt to make a sort of custom deity. She lies dormant for now, but should she awaken, who knows what terrors she would unleash. The Sandstone Stormcatcher she rests under keeps her contained, but it is said that some may be seeking to break this bond and let Byte loose.. She may have been a normal dragon at some point, but even though she was, that has long gone by. She only has one living legitimate child, Heatwave, completely unbeknownst to him as Seasurge took him from Byte and disappeared shortly before she became this way. A pylon at the edge of the sea that holds the statue is the only thing keeping the forest safe from her wrath.
