Bear

Bear came to the Opolis clan with the original intent of stealing from their hoard, but was caught in the act by Alpha. Bear told her that he was just seeking some shelter, to which she generously began to lead him to the warmest spot and give him some extra tasty meat. Touched by her kindness, he decided against stealing and scavenging and asked Lillia and Pathos for permission to join the clan. Lillia was uneasy about allowing him in, spurred on by Spindle's doubts about his integrity, but Pathos reminded Lillia that the clan was currently lacking a strong member to keep guard over the hoard and the clan. Pathos knew of Bear's original intentions, but used this to test his character. Lillia cautiously allowed him to be a guard, much to Spindle's dismay. Bear, lost and confused, decided to stay as their guard rather than steal from them. He figured that he would be entitled to the treasure and food in the hoard if he did, so why would he steal when he could just have it legitimately? Bear is a bit lazy though, and enjoys having Fosterian around to do the actual watching part of keeping watch over the hoard. And even though it was Alpha that caused his change of heart, he finds her very annoying in large quantities. He mated with Saiya, since he finds her the most beautiful dragon he has ever laid eyes on, but finds her too spacey to keep around for company. Saiya doesn't mind. Bear is the father of Linden.
