Divine drones are believed to have been created by Sorneith’s deities, though the source of this claim is unknown. What is known is that they have some sort of nascent connection to divine magic - that is, elemental magic emitted by the gods. This often manifests in the form of glowing eyes, with a mild tint from the type of magic they can harness. Starry patterns dance across their carapaces, glittering in the light and growing brighter when they call upon their powers.

Some divines seem intent on protecting the god’s creation. They do this by destroying hives in whatever manner possible, whether it be burning the entire hive down or infiltrating it and poisoning it from the inside out. Others have allied themselves with the hive, using their powers to further its goals in return for some unknowable benefit.
