Biography

Medusa Eyes
born from a chicken egg sat by a toad that hatched on the full moon, Basilisk is a terrifying creature. His eyes turn even the hardiest of Earth elementals to pure marble, so he wears a blindfold for the sake of others.

Despite his unsettling appearance, he's actually very kind. He supplies "extremely realistically carved" small animal statuettes to the Cafe, where they're very popular with passersby and tourists for their realism.
He's also the reason the Bolthole is bordered by statues of unfortunate Beastclan and hostile dragon statues. They're kept intact in the hopes of reversing the petrification someday-- Basilisk has enlisted the help of Perlapoi and Dawn to find a magical cure. Heliodor has taken to studying his statues to help improve her own sculpting craft.
