Pilgrimage to earth 2020-12
The clan ran into him during their pilgrimage to earth. They needed to take a detour to the Icefields to pick up some supplies for some planned project (specifically imbued artifacts to slow body function in order to improve outcomes during high risk procedures.)

The came across this madman wandering the Floes and rambling incoherently. They planned to drop him off at a nearby clan as they completed their trade, but trying to take him further into the Southern Icefield resulted in incoherent panic attacks. He was trying to escape his homeland to the best of his very-limited ability. The kindhearted of clan refused to abandon him, causing significant delays to their travel timeline as they had to coax their trade partners to come to them while also watching over this insane dragon.

During this waiting period, he caught the attention of Phantasma, the highly adventurous trader. Everyone else wrote off his ramblings as nothing more than insanity, but she actually paid attention and even asked him questions. His answers were disturbing and fraught with references to horrific creatures Phantasma had never heard of before. She greatly enjoyed entertaining his incoherent ‘stories’

Leanan was adamant that he not come with the clan – travel is dangerous enough when all travelers are rational. When the rest of the clan moved on, Phantasma volunteered to bring him to a safe clan she frequently traded with in the Windswept Plateau. It was rather a challenge because he would often react to the goings-on in his head by panicking or hiding or just belligerently refusing to move. However, at no point was he ever violent.

What happened to him note: He was also imprisoned in the fortress of the ends. The whole goaler thing is when he escaped. Not sure yet what he did to get in there, but it’ll be. The ramblings come from stories passed down. He lived around the time these creatures were mostly (but not all) locked away so he knew people who had seen these things first hand. He’s also kind of an escape artist, so would wind up seeing things thing during previous escape attempts. Goalers imprison shade related creatures, but I don’t really like the idea of making him shade-touched.



OR: The fortress of the ends is super cool and I want an excuse to talk about all the post-apocalyptic abominations locked up in there and I don’t like goaler social lore much :(

I haven’t decided on a breed yet. He’s a scatter project and his final look will depend on what looks best. Options: Tundra(! Best choice if poss), Guardian, Fae, Gaoler (Ridgback meh)
Trying to work scattering into his lore. Boyo gotta ‘find himself’ to come back from whatever happened to him. How long will that take? No idea!



Once free of insanity:
Super naïve. Would chase a cool looking bug into danger. Very friendly and hates yelling.

Spent 20kg on him. UNNAMED unbred ice 6digit! Who is he - no one knows, not even himself.
