Been obsessed with dinosaur videos lately and seeing Utahraptor made me very happy! A clever girl indeed. I like all your animal fandragons!

Wildclaws have always reminded me of raptors, which is probably why it took me so long to warm up to them because I was one of many who had the bejeezus scared out of them by the kitchen scene in Jurassic Park. Iirc Utahraptors are the biggest raptors they’ve found. She’s a lovely representative of the species! I like the use of lace for feathers.

Utahraptors will always have a special place in my heart! I used to play Zoo Tycoon 2, with the dinosaur expansion pack - despite how inaccurate that depiction is/likely is, it certainly foster a love for them (and other extinct species, too).

Regardless, she looks lovely, and certainly brought a smile to my face!

Clever girl indeed! I had this big children's book about dinosaurs when I was a kid which was very scientifically accurate for its time (it had feathered T-rexes. Feathered rexes! On a children's book! From over a decade ago!) and these guys appeared in it, I loved reading their entry. I also have great memories of playing Fossil Fighters and using the Venom skill, it didn't work most of the time but when it did, I had a blast watching the enemy's HP getting cut in half... (Her colors kinda remind me of the vivosaur too, btw :)

Love dinosaurs, raptors especially. Saw someone mention Fossil Fighters, I always use utahraptor as soon as I can, way too good to pass up. Also pretty.

Ajkdfghdghdf! Utahraptor! Wildclaws are perfect for this!
(Also I still dislike that they say Velociraptor in Jurassic Park but they are clearly Utahraptors!)

I've never seen a fandragon just for a dinosaur before. It's always specific dinosaurs – Indominus, raptor squad, the like. Dromaeosaurids are among my favorite dinosaurs, and Utahraptor in particular I hold near and dear to my heart. Lovely to see this giant, murderous ground hawk around :)

I love seeing fandragons of actual things, not characters, honestly! Utahraptor is such a great dino <3 (i definitely recognized almost every one of your other dergs, too)

Utahraptors are my favorite dinosaurs ever!!!! I used to do all sorts of research about them when dinos were my hyper fixation.

~ Raptor Red was my favorite book as a kid and honestly... dino dragons. <3 I'm always head over heels for any Wildclaw but a Utahraptor in particular? lmao No contest.

Clever Girl.

And thank you, Friege, for mentioning a decade old book that was revolutionary for its time. I'd love to get my hands on that book!
