Q: A question from Invoker;

The lantern-bearing nocturne stares wistfully down at the pearlcatcher, her arcane eyes alight with curiosity, "Dear Balthin, from one prophet to another, I must ask, how do your visions manifest? I'm so very curious how different prophets of different voices speak through time..."

A:With a heavy sigh, Bathin shakes their head. "My abilities.. whenever they have sprung upon me, it was nearly never at the right moment - some I've had during a public outing, others while I was speaking with friends." Their voice is rough, quiet in a way that forced the Nocturne to work hard to hear correctly.

"They could manifest as a simple image, or thought, in my mind - and only twice have I had a vision so powerful that it was all I was seeing during the time.. it filled my mind, my thoughts.. those kinds of prophecies are not to be ignored, no matter how insignificant I might've found them," the pearlcatcher says, looking rather serious while they speak - a lost, saddened look in their dark eyes. "I learned that the hard way."

Shaking their head, the pale dragon sighs and attempts to lighten the mood, forcing a brief smile her way. "Once, I was spending time with one of my parents, and since I was rather young, I had not gotten my first familiar yet. For only a split second, I saw a flash of what looked like an owl, brown and covered in gemstones.

"And sure enough, only seven sun-rises later, I was being toted off to the farms, to the bestiary," Bathin continues explaining, though when they shift and click their talons together in some sort of recall, a rounded, sharp-stoned Enstatite Burrower comes gliding out of nowhere and onto the pearlcatcher's arched wing. "That's where I met Boseog. I got a vision of my future familiar."

The young dragon seemed pleased about this, their adoring smile still fixated on Boseog.
