Thaddeus

Though Thaddeus is generally a pretty mellow dragon, there are a few things about which he is very passionate, key among those being his work as a librarian, historian, and teacher, as well as puzzles and challenging games. But totally not his huge crush on Astrea. Nope. Definitely not. Why would you even mention that?

Anyways... he is always very open to new ideas and trying new things, which is probably why he allowed the resident stray cat to hang around in his library. No one knows where it came from, and nobody has named it, so it is called many different things by many different dragons. In fact, he is nearly certain that a few dragons only visit the library for the cat.

It's also probably due to his open mindset, as well as his pacifist ideals, that his love/hate relationship with Astrea's bitterest rival, Vale, isn't just outright hate. He does his best, but it truly does take someone as patient and insightful as Thadeus to see past Vale's cold and independent exterior. Some dragons just find him outright mean. It's a lot to handle.

However, despite his pacifist nature, Thaddeus doesn't solely hold to that ideal, and will fight if someone threatens the dragons or things he loves. Still, his first choice will always be to try and talk his opponent down, and only move to violence if said opponent threatens or hurts those he cares about.

- Passionate and extited to learn, and share his knowledge of the world and his research for hours
- Has feelings for Astraea, but is oblivious to the fact that she shares them
- Tends to get caught up in his work or take on too much, but has good friends who check in on him
- Has a longstanding friendship with Vale, who to many comes off as cold and independent
- Has allowed a stray kitten to take up residence in the library, but has yet to name it
