Biography
At 14, Grandma had taken in both me and my brother.
She put us into a small private christian school for my first year of highschool.
I was hesitant at first and definetly didn't enjoy most of my time there, but I made close connections with new friends.
They were like me - not actually christian but merely forced into it, LGBTQ+ but forced to be closeted, dealing with issues that onlookers couldn't see.
This was also the year I officially started working on my social anxiety. It had been so terrible that I'd shake in fear at the thought of going outside and someone seeing me, or having to go into the school by myself, or even walking around the store with grandma.
Grandma helped me with this by forcing me into these situations to help me "just get over it."
It felt horrible, but over the years, it's proven helpful.
I fully believe that my agoraphobia would have turned into a lifelong issue if it hadn't been dealt with at such a young age.
