Aristos

Aristos serves as one of the 'council members', who are a small group of dragons personally chosen by the clan leader, Abyss, due to exceptional moral stances and strong passion for the future of the clan. Or they're the dragons who Abyss chose to do the actual work because he couldn't be bothered.

Aristos, as one of the older dragons in the lair (and a previous clan leader), is the one who has the greatest knowledge on the multiple occasions that general stupidity and bad decisions have harmed the clan, and thus takes the role of ensuring that nothing that could cause a similar disaster can happen again.

The first became known as the 'Scatter Pandemic', where a bug caused the clan to be refunded a grand total of 250 scatterscrolls. These were left unguarded and quickly abused, leading to a clan of both those whose colours constantly changed and those who grew an intense phobia of strangers. Eventually, someone had the bright idea of selling the scatters on. That dragon wasn't Aristos.

The second they do not speak of, thank you very much. Hypothetically, if a dragon who had a whole airport full of baggage chose to lock himself in the newly obtained vault, which was full of a great number of familiars that the clan had stored wealth in - and if the clan thought it was pretty funny, and so left him there - well, if that dragon grew to an immense size and the familiars became fiercely protective of him, that wouldn't be very good at all. Especially if that dragon was Callisto's son. This was around the time that he decided to step down as clan leader.

Finally, there was the Nocturne infestation - a whole new breed made its way to Sornieth, one with the ability to completely rework a lair into becoming utterly undiscoverable to any dragon who may have lived in it. Combine that with multiple lazy and generally stupid dragons... yeah, a lot of the clan was lost that day.

He is not very good at his job.
