Biography
Toxic was born in the Arcane flight, but their parents were unable to take care of them, so they were sold to a traveling circus that stopped through their town every spring. Toxic's job involved feeding the animals, repairing costumes, and making kettle corn. They were not treated well by the circus management, being punished unfairly for their mistakes.
One especially cold winter, a blizzard hit the mountain village where the circus was preforming. Toxic had messed up while mending one of the clown suits. The circus owner had yelled and roared at Toxic, then chased them out into the snow in a fit of rage.
Toxic's bright feathers made them stand out, yet they managed to hide when a pile of snow fell off a tree branch and covered their feathers. Once they could no longer hear the enraged roars of the circus owner, they shook the snow off and stumbled into town.
They shivered as they reached the edge of the town. All they had on them was their life's savings of 4 gold. Not enough for anything, they thought to themselves. They spied a traveling cart that had been converted into a tea shop. Glancing around nervously, they bolted towards the tea cart and slid underneath it. They sighed, relieved to finally be out of the snow.
This traveling tea shop just happened to belong to Earl Grey, a kind Skydancer who loved to explore the world. When she found Toxic curled up underneath her shop, she decided to adopt them.
As one of Earl Grey's adopted children, Toxic grew up traveling the world. They made new friends wherever they went, and still maintain many of those friendships today. When they realized they missed the traveling lifestyle, they decided to become a traveling mage. They still regard Breeze village as their hometown.
