Biography
คlคtђ tђє tคl๏ภร
Alathfar was born into a large clan and spent his youth surrounded by hatchlings who were all instilled with an appreciation for knowledge, though his mother fostered a love of history in particular within her own brood. His fondest memories of their time together involved coiling around her neck and peering over her shoulder as she poured over tomes, enraptured by crude drawings of relics lost to the world. As with all of her children, she toured the world with Alath and encouraged him to choose a new home. He refused. His decisiveness surprised her, world-weary as she was, and she could do little more than honor his request. When she asked him, later, why he chose to stay, he simply stated that they had more to learn from each other. When they finally made their pilgrimage again, it was with great pride and a gentle claw placed atop his head that she left him in the Windswept Plateau. The significance of his choice was not lost on either of them. Alathfar was not the first of his mother's children nor the last, but she liked to believe he was the most astute. |

At a passing glance, there was nothing remarkable about Vega; only when the cowl had settled into place around her neck did Alath spare her a second look. A gentle thrum filled the air, and after what seemed like an eternity, the Fae lifted her head. She glanced around the ruins with wide, empty eyes, passing over each witness as though peering into them. Alath felt them rest on him, and he fought the urge to look away. Afterward, she sought him out and offered him a string of charms and her name - the last remnants of her old life. In Siri's eyes, she owes her life to Alath - much to the Fae's immense displeasure. While exploring a rumor involving treasure floating up among the floes of the Southern Icefield, Alath discovered a beastclan hauling a prisoner behind them. Outnumbered and far from the Cosmos, Alath bartered for the Spiral's freedom. He was appalled by Siri's condition and encouraged her to seek retribution; though she was wary of the Fae, she agreed to fight alongside him. The pair made quick work of the traders, and Alath returned to his clan significantly richer - and accompanied by a boisterous Spiral with deadly mirth in her eyes. Murzim and Alathfar joined the Cosmos around the same time, and their companionship was forged easily during their first assigned reconnaissance mission. Alath hadn't traveled alongside a Skydancer since leaving his mother's side and had grown unused to being understood so easily; Murzim just enjoyed how genuine the Fae was, despite his quick tongue. Their cohesion impressed Quasar - so much, in fact, that she began sending them out fairly regularly for retrieval and rescue.
Discretion is my forte - even if Vega is inclined to disagree.
