Biography
![]() Uh-oh, looks like this bronzed imperial wandered a little too far from his lair (DarkTrickster, 64610), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. Lyn is the last child of Sandor and Miyuki to remain un-exalted. Missing his brothers and sisters, he decided to venture from his clan for a little soul-searching. He is currently drifting from clan to clan, hoping to find a new life before he returns to his friends. Visiting the scorching hot plains of the Ashfall Waste, he came quite near the forge itself before finding the courage to visit a clan. There, he entered the bazaar of Clan Huldra, but none of the wares offered caught his interest, and so he moved on not much later. The flight into magical territories enticed him, and so it began his next journey on to the rose-coated lands of the Arcanist. Far and far he flew and it wasn't long until his wings grew tired and he needed a place where rest would come without peril. He stumbled on to Tropicalle, courtesy of two of his peers; friendly imperials assured him this clan welcomed anyone who needed a home, whether permanently or temporarily as was his case. He stayed for the night and as the sun rose in the sky he was already being asked for his abilities. It was clear he would be joining the hunting party in their endeavours and so he joined a party of three, neither prone to much talking but all eager to fight. As time went on, Lyn began feeling more and more comfortable with this arrangement. He felt not like a guest but like part of this clan and was eager to assist wherever and whenever his abilites came in handy. Alas, after a few well-accompanied months, he felt it was time to once again spread his wings without a purpose. He said his goodbyes and after a farewell party courtesy of the clan that so eagerly welcomed him, he flew again, taking with him many wonderful and permanent memories of all the friends he had made. Flying in a southeasterly direction Lyn came to the Windswept Plateau and decided to put his feet to the ground for the night. He was jolted from his sleep early in the morning by a bundle of children including Imperials, nocturnes, spirals, 1 coatl and 1 skydancer. He didn't mind it so much because he missed his own children. They were mild mannered and no worse than any other children. They led him to the lair of Clan DarksBane. It was lively and full of different types of dragons. Lyn was welcomed and content to rest for a few days, but he soon felt the need to move on. Somehow his wings turned him back to the Starfall Isles - he had half a mind to return to Tropicalle, despite his lack of purpose - but he got lost in the Starwood Strand, where he stumbled upon Deoradhan-Kunibert. They offered him a place to rest, which he gratefully accepted, but after a few days he had to admit that he was restless. He couldn't settle down to any one activity. Finally, sheepishly - given all the disruption he'd caused the clan - he decided to move on. He was flying around Sornieth when a delicious aroma caught his nostrils. Suddenly feeling hungry, he pushed his way through the thick trees and vines to land in what turned out to be The Royal Muffin Bakery. They offered the hungry dragon food and shelter. He was quite fascinated by the hustle and bustle, staying a few weeks to learn of the activities. He got a bit annoyed when the hatchlings started calling him 'Nacho Cheese' after his brightly hued crackle, and decided he should bid farewell to the bakers. |
