Buenamor

Even as a hatchling, Buenamor was protector to all the other younglings. As he grew older, he preferred not to fight, but if those he loved were being hurt, he would step in to champion them. In this, he was joined by Rocky, his Raptorik friend. As do all Tundras, he loved his clan. Deep in his heart, however, he knew that his future lay elsewhere.

The day came when Buenamor bid his dear friend and the members of his tribe good-bye to set out on his own. Not knowing where he was headed or what he was looking for, the young adult male continued day after day, traveling the lands.

Until one day . . . . .

Actually, it began the day previous. Buenamor knew he was being drawn toward . . . something. Each step he took felt as if energy, bright and powerful as the sun was seeping into his body. Even when the sun went down, he continued forward, sure that what was calling him, what had called him all his life was so close he could almost stretch out and grasp it.

Almost, but not quite.

He traveled far in the darkened world that night, but even as the energy coursing through his body continued to grow, his anticipation and hunger find what he was searching for was wearing on his body. Buenamor continued until he could barely keep his eyes open. And there, in the tall grasses surrounded by massive trees, he sank to the ground, already deep in slumber.

The sleep only held him a few hours. When he awoke, new energy pored into his soul as the sun begin to rise. Looking around, Buenamor found himself at the edge of a vast meadow, a blanket of yellow and pink flowers spread at his feet. A stream meandered along it's edges, and as the sun's rays touched the water, they sparkled to life.

As his eyes scanned the area before him, he saw movement; a shimmer of pink that looked as if a kaleidoscope of butterflies moved to take flight. A moment later, another Tundra rose from her bed of flowers, yellow fur bathed in first morning's light.

Eyes green as the color of springtime met his searching ones.

Buenamor was home.

Buenamor is such a good boi :sob::revolving_hearts: He sounds like he was such a heroic lil rascal, growing up~ Then all that hard work and perseverance on his journey paid off- The ending scene is beautiful!!
SunRose is an absolute sunshine, and it makes me so happy to hear that she and Buenamor are together~ I can only imagine they'd be a wholesome and adorable pair~
