Younger brother to Vjalen's queen Cathania and next in line to the throne. Caz learned from a really young age that he really, really does not want to be a ruler of any kind, as Cathania's union with Dahan, the king of Charass, made him the heir apparent instead of the second in line that he had been used to all his life.

He would never admit his relief on Charass revolution causing Dahan's death and Cathania to return to take her place as the first for Vjalen's throne again, but he did feel it, so much. It's both his guilt for that feeling and his desire to avoid the throne making him the most enthusiast ally his sister has for her decades long quest of finding her stolen child and heir, Dhaleil.
