Atropos

A faded creature, cold and distant, eyes glinting like polished gemstones. Her gaze is sharp, her claws sharper. Even the fabric of time and space itself yields to her. A flash of pale fangs bared in a sneer contrast against the darkness, and an ill mood pervades. To be in her presence is to risk drawing her ire, and thus her wrath. The strings of fate curl and stretch under her gaze like a fawning dog, and she handles life and death with care in bony hands.

The first of Inlé’s children to inherit the Reaper aspect of the Incarnation, like her mother. Atropos can See the future of living beings - often times not far enough ahead to be of any practical use, but she will never lose a game of chess. Her Sight also allows her to see the life-threads of those around her, to appraise their wellbeing. Occasionally, she finds herself drawn to those threads, to touch and alter them, sometimes to sever them entirely.

Those whose lives she severs fall immediately, silent and empty, regardless of their health or age beforehand. It is a gift, she thinks, to so easily be able to silence the enemies of the Shade. Those who would speak and harm their cause are quickly silenced, and those who might be a threat to their goals are done away with before they can act. It is a far more direct path than that of her mother, and she prides herself on her usefulness.

Atropos is prideful and vain, though she does her best not to brag. She enjoys simply running her claws over the threads of life, enjoys the power she has over others, a power those not connected to the Shade will never see or understand. Much of her time is spent on the edges of gatherings, the outskirts of clans, as she tangles her mind in weaving something only she can see.
