______ Once, there was night, and there was no light.
Dragons lived in chaos and blood was constantly shed, for they could not see each other, and see that they were the same, that they were friends, not foe.
An Imperial soon realized the havoc on the world, and in a desperate attempt to slow the deaths down, begged to the gods for them to come down and save them.
The gods rarely listened to the cries of dragons, deeming them irredeemable, however, they took into consideration the Imperial's words, and in his next nest, he had two hatchlings born.
Ihaia hatched first, and when she did, the world was blinded by light. Stars appeared in the sky, and daylight took her rule on Earth. The wars amongst dragons began to cease, as they realized their differences and similarities. They reached out to each other, and made peace.
Ihaia was revered and honored by her fellow lighting dragons, but even though she was praised, she never felt like she belonged. So she ran away. Verde, her sister, also ran with her, as she didn't want to be alone, and blamed for the disappearance of Ihaia.

______ Ihaia chose to settle down in the Tangled Wood, seeing that it was darker than the other lands, and when she walked amongst the plants and animals, they would glow. The sun didn't touch the land here, and for once Ihaia felt whole, and complete.
Verde, however, could not stand to be in the shadows, and would later run away, only to be caught by another group of shadow dragons. Of course, Ihaia felt betrayed, and it was in losing her sister that she began to change. She used to be a gentle spirit, one who could never dream of harming anyone, and she was well loved.
She didn't change that quickly, it was more of a gradual change, but other dragons noticed it rather quickly, even more so when she brought home Kallik. She had said that she would never harm Kallik, and Kallik had seemed to believe that, but the dragons had their doubts.
Perhaps they were right, because when Ihaia cursed Kallik, Kallik bore it so well, and had accepted it as something that was an honor. The other dragons were repulsed, and while Kallik and Ihaia had insisted it was fine, Ihaia knew that it wasn't. But that didn't matter. She was never going to let one of her siblings leave her again.
