Biography

Shadowwind is a traveling dragon. If Shadowwind and Azerty end up in the same lair, please give them back to @Azerty, their home clan.

Shadowwind always yearned to know more about the outside. He decided to leave one day, to see the wonders of the realm and its inhabitants. Claiming he was off to find Azerty, he wants to learn all he can from the clans he visits.

Clans Visited: Please list your clan below, and about Shadowwinds stay.

@CaptainMoof

My stay with the clan of CaptainMoof was peaceful. The dragons here are very kind, gentle, and welcoming, most of them anyway. I believe it has something to do with the creature that founded the clan... Moof is what they call it, as its native tongue is far too ancient for any dragon to comprehend. Despite its looks, it is a benevolent creature, just like many of the dragons in the clan.

They taught me the wonders of their pocket of this universe, of the stars they gaze at every night, of the life surrounding them. They taught me about caring for others, even if they care not for you. I learned of their kindness and compassion. How they give to others until there is nothing left to give. Even then, they still give.

Eventually, I must leave. They guide me out of their home and bid me farewells and hopes of safe travel. I will miss this clan, but they assure me I will always be welcome.

@BrisamarinaSol

My stay with the clan of BrisamarinaSol was wonderful. It is a welcome peaceful break from the chaos I normally encounter. Their tongue is odd, perhaps more ancient than the last clan I visited, although I can't tell.

I was mostly left to my own devices after Impdin- a Skydancer stepping in to lead the clan for his mate who is off doing something or other- showed me around. All of the dragons seemed friendly enough, although some I can't seem to catch and talk to. Especially the Pearlcatcher messenger whose name I believe is Nubesvioletas through the calls of the clan members, though I can't tell. I did get a chance to do a lot of research, and with that information, I can now move along... When I choose to.

@Skyfrost
It was a miracle I found them.
I ran into Rogue while he was gathering herbs in the valley, and we spoke for a while before he mentioned his clan.
I had never heard of a clan like such.
After some questioning, the Mirror revealed that they had a curse of forgotten memory, its causes long since forgotten to all except the Snapper, Memory.
The Clan of Forgotten Dreams was... peaceful. Somewhat. Their voices are strange, and the common tongue around are ancient runes or gestures.
However, all around them was an air of pain, of darkness. I can't quite place my claw on it...but there seems to be secrets that have been so deeply rooted that even they themselves have forgotten.
Fearless showed me around before leaving me alone to do whatever I please, however she warned me to not stray too far. Fearless refused to say anything further.
As I walked among the forgotten clan, I noticed with delight that they had countless collections of books and ancient stories to tell. Most members of the Clan were wary around me, they don't usually receive visitors often, but some did deign to provide me with their stories.
No matter how much they talked, they seem to constantly shy away from their past and the reason how they got there, and chose not to speak about their curse.
I might not remember them, but writing it all down might stall the curse.
None of the dragons seem to know the origins of their curse, but they always respond with one sentence: See Memory.
From what I could glean, Memory is the Librarian of the Clan, and holds all their secrets and history. I wonder why they do not protect her, and to which Fearless barked a laugh.
"How do you suppose you would kill a dragon who has been forsaken by both life and death?"
The sentence haunts me till today.
Fearless offered to tell me what her cryptic words meant, but she did warn me once.
"If you choose to follow, you can never go back."
If I chose to learn their secrets, I can never return home.
Their Clan is born from blood and pain, and warped by the neglection of gods.
I chose to leave the dark clan.
It pains me to do so, and I feel so very selfish of me.
The dragons residing in the clan are twisted and broken creatures, hated for a crime that they did not commit.
They need my help.
Yet I chose to leave.
However, my stay in the dark clan did do me some good.
For I didn't leave alone.
I left with a fae named Azerty.
