" Ah; hello newcomer. Im Sirius; second Delta of the Highwind. I hope you enjoy your stay! Just not too much; or you may end up staying here your whole life like my likes. "

He chuckles as he flicks his tail once more, his Storm seeker giving a faint squawk, the two flying off together as you turn away, looking for other dragons to talk to.

Sirius grew up buck wild. He lived without parents and out in the open of the Wind territory; stealing food from other tribes. While traveling he stumbled upon the Highwind. He made a negative first impression on the tribe; as Polaris found him trying to steal their prey. He was made a prisoner and slowly given a job and eased into the Highwind. The two started as wary and bitter towards one another; but slowly gained each others trust. In a fire that almost burned down the hatchery; Sirius was forced to work along side Polaris; saving the hatchlings and Polaris; as a branch almost clobbered her tail. After that; two two became very close friends; eventually becoming mates. Sirius settled down with Polaris to start their own family, abandoning his thieving ways. Together they had a daughter; Penumbra. Because of this his step daughter Adrea left; though she does not blame Sirius for her mother's neglect of her; and the two actually remain on rather friendly terms. He eventually was promoted to be the Delta of the clan. However; he was soon challenged by Iris for his position. The two contenders for the spot of the Delta faced off; fighting valiantly. In the end Iris won 6 of the 10 matches held between them; claiming her second in command spot. Sirius was demoted to the Secondary or "submissive" Delta as a sign of his loss; as Iris took his rank as the "Dominant" Delta. In time he accepted his new position and lives happily with his wife and daughter and Foster son Warren II.
