And he is old, indeed. Once an energetic youth always trying new things, Teygo's hyperactivity has mellowed with age into a stern sense of leadership, and natural talent as a defender. He is cool under pressure, resourceful on the battlefield, and quick to make allies (although friends are something of a stretch). He serves as a general in times of war, and is Terravale's chief military advisor against the Beast Clan threat.

Although difficult to anger, when his wrath is aroused it is a righteous fury--whether or not he is actually in the right. Some dragons of the clan consider him to be somewhat stuffy.

His favorite food are saltwater oysters.
