Clan Matriarch | Runaway | Honorable | Prideful sexuality: demisexual mate: none Snag was not born in the ice flight's territory. Her name was not yet Snag, but rather, Current. She was born in a large lightning dragon lair in the Shifting Expanse. Snag spent the first week of her life there, growing up and studying under her parents. Her father was a skilled warrior who seemed to be more aligned with light than lightning. Her mother was one of the lair's healers, and possibly one of the most reliable of them. Snag learned the basics of medicine before leaving the lair and joining the ice flight. Why? Well, it was tradition. It was normal for young dragons to be sold off to other lairs- she was devastated to know that she was going to be separated from her parents as well as her many siblings. And thus began a new chapter in her story. She escaped from her new home, a water lair, within a day of arriving. Snag switched from running to flying several times. Eventually, she ended up at the edge of the Southern Icefield. There, she collapsed from exhaustion from her escape. The current leader of this lair found Snag and brought her to the lair to help heal her. Within a day, Snag was conscious and quite suspicious of Dove, the leader, and the matriarch's mate, Bloodstone. Tropical, a guardian not too much older than Snag, befriended her. She was planning to leave in a day, maybe two if something came up but eventually decided against it. After all, she was safe, satisfied, and had a new family. She still writes letters to her parents. On her stay here, she had previously befriended a small ferret who was too small to be her familiar. The ferret was named William and is one of Snag's closest friends. In celebration of finding her new family, she decided to change her name from Current to Snag. Within a few days of her arrival, Dove, Bloodstone, and a few of the other dragons decided to step down from their positions as leaders of the clan and to usher in a new generation. They decided to make Snag the new matriarch after evaluating her skills as a natural leader. The group of ex-leaders went to the hibernal den to take a well-deserved break.
