Biography

Dusk Sanctum. A place of research and learning of the Shadow Arts. A building made of glow stones and wood from the darkest forest. Within the chambers of Shadow a young dragon made his way around the large chamber. In the center of the floor was a large symbol of the Shadows.
“Astrallus. Dear boy, slow down,” A female voice chimed in with amusement.
Astrallus turned to see Raven, a large black gaoler with burning red eyes, staring at him with a serene expression.
“Sorry Ms. Raven! I am just so excited to try and make shadow magic,” Astrallus replied back with a grin as he jumped up and down.
Raven laughed as she replied back,” Calm down.”
When he stopped jumping up and down, Raven smiled as she walked over to where there was a large bookshelf that was on the back wall. She then reached up, pulling out a large tome and walked over to the center of the chamber. She opened it up, flipping through the thick pages until she stopped onto one and looked at Astrallus and said,” Pay attention young one. I'll show you how to summon a spirit orb.”
Astrallus nodded his head, before watching as Raven began to say the incantation, the symbol in the center of the room began to glow and a circular orb that was a deep purple arose from the ground. Once she was finished she turned to Astrallus and said,
“Alright, are you ready to try?”
Astrallus nodded as he quickly entered the center, Raven passed him the tome and pointed to the spell he needed to do. As soon as Raven and the orb she summoned stepped back allowing Astrallus to start. As he did so the floor began to glow before a poof of smoke appeared, but nothing else. Astrallus waited for a few moments before puffing out his cheeks in annoyance as he looked at Raven with disappointment. Raven chuckled as she said,
“No need to look so down. Let's begin again.”
Soon the two began to practice over and over until Astrallus got it right and he rejoiced the rest of the day. (credit to Alu140 for this section of lore)
