CountessBathory

Countess Bathory is not a very social dragon and spends much time alone or with her familiars, whom she feels tend to understand her better than other dragons. She finds they are far less annoying, and can be trusted to stay out of her dark magic craftings. If deadly or violent enchanted weapons, potions, or poisons are deemed necessary by the chief and chieftess (only as a last resort considering they are largely pacifistic), Countess Bathory is the one to churn them up. Another way she earns her place in the clan is by disposing of dragon corpses when a death in the lair occurs. Her clanmates hope she's just using some kind of magic...or at least a couple of Corpse Cleaners. When an imperial dragon dies, Countess Bathory is the one to prepare them for burial and enchants them to prevent an Emperor from forming. Fitting her profession, she likes to eat butcher's figs and corpse maker ivy.

The name Bathory originally indicated a person from Bátor, a village in Hungary, which might be of Turkic origin meaning "hero".
