CRYNU [kruh-nee]
|
INFORMATION ::
A frozen husk of a dragon, discovered in the nearby woods. They are constantly shivering and always watching the first one to enter their sight. They do not speak, with the only vocalisation being their cold, short breaths.
It is unknown how Crynu came to be, or who they were before whatever happened to them. It is worth noting that the Gaoler dragons say they smell much more potent of the Shade than most modern dragons, though Crynu does not seem to show themselves as such a large threat. While initial tests showed them possibly being a Tundra dragon, they seem to be able to digest all types of food, though they very rarely eat.
Though they are not hostile and will shy away from others, they were initially discovered alone in the Snowsquall Tundra at a ransacked beastclan village eating the remains of some cattle, so caution is advised when interacting with them.
DATA LOGS :: --CONFIDENTIAL--
Entry #01 - Day 1, Evening
Staff: Nurse Raine, Agent [Name]
Subject was discovered in the ruins of a destroyed Longneck village by another Longneck clan and their Guardian. Assuming subject to be a severely injured and freezing Tundra they took them to their local healer, before requesting a transfer to [plague doc hospital name thing]. Taken to the ward and seen by Nurse Raine. Subject refused closer examination and refused to use the provided bed, opting for the corner of the room.

Entry #02 - Day 2, Morning
Staff: Nurse Raine
Patient is awake but stays in the corner shivering. Keeps their gaze upon the first member of staff to enter the ward but shows no sign of hostilities nor any sign of wanting to communicate. Nurse Raine has attempted another examination to no success. A simple meal made of vegetables was provided but was left uneaten.
-
Entry #03 - Day 2, Evening
Staff: Nurse Raine
Patient was prepared two meals - one of purely vegetation and the other some cooked meat and fish. Subject partially ate some of the plants but finished the other portions. Nurse Raine observes their teeth appear to be more suited for a meat-based diet compared to most Tundra.
Nurse Raine attempted to speak with the patient. Patient does not seem to speak and only vocalises rasped breaths. When asked if they have a name, patient shakily scratched at the ground which appears to read as 'Crynu' and was confirmed with a slow nod. Another examination was attempted and allowed by patient for a brief amount of time before it left to the corner again.
Requesting for Dr. Dautheill to look into the case further. - Nurse Raine
-
Entry #04 - Day 2, Night
Staff: Dr. Dautheill
Dr. Dautheill visits the patient and speaks to them briefly. She appears to convince them to allow a full examination.
Subject has exposed ribs and features unlike most Tundra. Awaiting DNA test results back from Dr. Xen. Subject seems to follow signs of what some call being 'shade-touched'. Have one of the Deep Wards prepared to house subject until further notice. - Dr. Dautheill
-
Entry #05 - Day 3
Staff: Dr [Name]
Patient Crynu has been moved to a Deep Ward and is now in the care of the doctors there. DNA results confirm them as being a Tundra and the Gaolers have confirmed there to be a higher concentration of shade within this dragon, though they do not feel it is of terrible concern. While the behaviour of the patient has not changed, they seem content and co-operate with the doctors.
