Biography

Gregarious | Competitive | Disorganized

Born to a dessert-maker and a chocolatier, it was only natural that Carvel would turn to the world of desserts as well. He learned to make a wide variety of treats, and how to use chocolate in a myriad of ways. He was particularly interested in using his magic in his dishes, perhaps not entirely necessary in a land already covered in snow. In exchange for time in the kitchens to practice his techniques, he also learned to help prepare non-dessert foods for the clan, though by far it wasn't his favorite activity.

With two accomplished dessert-makers already serving his home clan, and his specialty being cold treats, Carvel decided the best way to make his mark and avoid being pulled into non-dessert cooking duties more often than not would be to join Clan Brayuh's long-time ally, the fire Clan Tigris. He was somewhat mistaken about not being roped into cooking, but there was certainly a demand for cold desserts.

Carvel is a favorite of both the quarry-workers and various forgeworkers, and many of the dragons not native to fire territory. He's particularly dotingly bossy of the quarry workers, bullying them into drinking more water and indulging in better food for the hard work they do (always with ice cream for dessert, of course). He's also made friends with the clan's other dessert-maker, Kartoki, despite a rather competitive start, and they occasionally even collaborate on desserts.
