AURORA - A Different Kind Of Human

You found me.

Slave to the muse eternal, that which makes and unmakes in the same breath.

...."Stranger"? No, that is not I. But I had a hand in their creation this time.
I love them so dearly...but I know not how much of the feeling is my own.

Everything here, everything you see before you, has been a joint effort.
I set the framework. Tesseract fills in the empty spaces.

I am one of innumerable entities like me.
But I am the only one to exist in this universe, at this time.

Tesseract chooses one life in every universe.
One soul, one mind, dreaming of something more.

It gives the Architect a blessing that only ends with death.

The Architect has no choice in the matter. They are chosen at birth.
Some beings live hours. Others, longer than any human can count.

But we are all the same.

Driven by a desire for something greater.
Dreaming things fantastical and horrifying.

We want things beyond what we are.

Some see the gift as a blessing. Others see it as a curse.
Tesseract gives the Architect the power to create, but they can never stop.

Even at rest, the Architect weaves worlds in their dreams.

Some before me have suffered. I suffer as well, but not from my gift.
With my gift, I am never alone. My pain is eased by thoughts of unreachable worlds.

I would not want to be any other way.
