Uh-oh, looks like this spotty bog wandered a little too far from her home (188748, Xetheera), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Traveler's Log:

1/12/2021, Clan Mavenlark: How long have I been wandering aimlessly, without purpose or direction? Probably my entire life, if you asked my parents. I wonder if they still think about me. Would you still think about a child you intentionally let out of your sight just long enough to claim she was good and lost? I have no hatchlings of my own, so I cannot answer this myself. May the Gladekeeper never bless me with eggs to which I will be forced to pose this question towards.

I continue forward, taking leave of Clan Mavenlark. They have been kind to me in a world that has been anything but. If not for them, doubtless I'd learn to trust no derg among me. I suppose my heart has a bit of way to go before turning entirely iron.

1/18/2021, Faewood Hamlet: I follow the roads for lack of a better path- the roads led me to this community. I wonder if the world is not so bad after all, for I find myself among friends here- as close as I get to friends, I suppose. The dragons here are kind, if a little strange. Like Clan Mavenlark before, they seem almost to want me to be soft, to learn kindness in a world that has offered me little in the past.

If I get home- if I ever do return, what would they say? Bitterness runs through me, even now, to think of their faces. Would I even recognize them? Would they recognize me?
I've stayed here long enough already. I'll thank these Faewood Folk for their hospitality, but then I must be off.

7/21/2021, Terrathorn Station: My travels led me to the outskirts of Terraclae, where a clan ran a motel out of old train cars. My rented room was small but unexpectedly cozy. Nearby was an oasis watched over by a kind, if odd, Bogsneak, who let visitors swim and cool off in the water. Just what I needed in the summer heat. After taking a few nights to refresh in a nice motel bed, I packed up my things and headed off, hoping to find new friends.

8/12/2021, The Emerald Caverns: I was welcomed into a clan whos dragons knew hardship. Like I, there was dragons whos homes did not seem to want or need them. I find Asclepius, the clans Librarian, to have a similar story to mine. Though she was cast out, not forgotten, as a child. Its a small comfort to know that I was not the only one, though I wish I could say I was.

8/17/2021, Crow Callers: It's been a while of wandering. I informed the dragons that welcomed me in that I wasn't necessarily a traveller, but I was travelling around due to being lost for a long time. I thanked them, and wondered if maybe I could use this clan as my new home.

8/28/2021, The Fount of Travelers: Being back in the Gladekeeper's domain made me a little nervous, but I had heard of this sanctuary for traveling dragons, and that there were a lot of dragons there. I hoped to be able to get lost in the crowd, and I was. Everyone was kind enough, especially Axolotl, the Caretaker of the Fount of Travelers, but I made sure to get close to no one. I kept my guard up and kept moving along after some time. No one asked questions, just how I like it. They'd forget about me with time, just like everyone always does.

9/29/2021, The Motherlands:

9/5/2022, Clan Felicity: I found myself at the edge of the Gladekeeper's domain once more, and my trepidation hasn't lessened. That being said, the dragons I found myself among this time were another friendly, jovial lot. A clan of traveling entertainers, they're used to dragons joining and leaving them.

I spent a lovely week with them, during which I managed to forget many of my troubles. Still, I don't want to linger in one place too long; I said my goodbyes and headed off alone again.
