Biography
It was an ordinary afternoon in the market square. Dragons were hustling about and browsing the wares of vendors hawking their goods. Everyone was just going about their lives, not paying much attention to their surroundings.
But then.
Someone started screaming.
It was a long, continuous scream. It kept going and going, until the vocalist had to stop and take a breath - and then started screaming once again.
Everyone's head turned to see what was going on. Was someone injured? Were they in danger? They soon found the source of the noise - a small mirror hatchling was sitting in the middle of the crowd, on the street, screaming her little heart out. The child was immediately rushed to the doctor - perhaps somebody had stepped on her? But a quick examination found that she was completely unharmed. In fact, she didn't even look to be distressed. She was happily smiling as she screamed, seemingly rather pleased with all of the attention she was getting. Eventually Firth managed to scrounge up a juice box, which finally got the kid to quiet down. But the question remained - where did she come from?
The townsfolk began searching for her parents that evening. Posters were put up, and dragons went door-to-door across town to find her family. Nothing ever came of it, though. The most likely explanation, they all agreed, was that someone had simply brought her to the town, left her in the marketplace and hopped on the next train out of there. It was easy to see why, given her rather disruptive "habit", but by this point the townsfolk had to take her in. After all, Oasis Junction is known for welcoming anyone who had nowhere else to go, and that certainly applied to this little hatchling. She was given the name Agena, and sent off to the orphanage, where she will hopefully learn the concept of "inside voices".
