Rosalyn was a found egg, hatched and raised within Amberspire in the laissez faire fashion typical of the clan's early years.

- Adolescent Biography

Rosa showed remarkable potential in not only her native Water magic, but Arcane as well. She disappointed many of the higher-ups in Amberspire by ignoring her gift for hybrid magic to focus entirely on healing which, although a valuable asset to the clan, directly hampered Lady Pepper's studies.

- Adult Biography


After a particularly bad experience out with a team-in-training, Rosa gained a terrible fear of coliseum runs and refused to head out again. She took on work in the hospital for years after, before eventually completing studies in physical therapy and starting a more specialized job working with warriors and workers alike who have sustained lasting injuries.

This unique job has secured a safe space for her within Amberspire, in spite of initial misgivings.

In the recent past, she was part of a polyamorous group within the clan, of which two of her spouses - a spiral woman named Dapheen and Oleander, the skydancer - were warriors, and the third was a coatl male who was clan treasurer.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, her relationships fractured, one by one, for different reasons.
Her wife slaughtered in combat, and Oleander suffering an emotional break shortly thereafter left her with Aerides alone.

Their relationship was a cold, political one - she somehow felt even more alone with him than she did apart.
Even then, she didn't expect for him to be found guilty of treason for squirreling away clan money she never even saw sign of.

Shortly after, he was executed, and she was investigated for months before finally being found completely innocent of having any knowledge of his misdeeds.

She began to try to rebuild her life bit by bit, throwing herself into her work first, and then trying to forge new relationships when she felt ready.

Oleander returning suddenly, mutated and changed, came as more than a shock. She forgave him for vanishing for so many years after learning of just what he had been through, but they are taking their time before deciding if they wish to be together again.
