Biography
Ranec is the personification of a Wind Myth fable, The Fickle Wind.
He represents the Fickle Wind, who is eternally flitting between the Dawn and the Dusk, trying to keep each from knowing about the other while still having a full life with each individually. When the Fickle Wind leaves the Dawn, she knows that he is going to the Dusk, and when he leaves Dusk, she knows it is to be with Dawn. Even as they know of each other, they say nothing to the Fickle Wind, pained of the thought when he might leave forever. Even if it is a half-life, they are grateful for what life they can have with the Fickle Wind.
The Dawn and the Dusk cannot begrudge each other - each loves the Fickle Wind so deeply that they understand how empty life would be without him. Even if it is a half-life. They trade joy and pain with each other from a vast distance, knowing in loss that the Fickle Wind will return in time, and that their cycle will eternally continue.
Ranec, as the Fickle Wind, is in a pairing with Pyrite, the Dawn, and Orellia, the Dusk.
