Nyx

Nyx traveled to the Glade from his home clan of Eomoris, feeling somewhat like a failure due to his lack of magic (not that anyone ever said so, of course), and ever eager to find fertile soil that would help his rare and nocturnal plants prosper.

While Nyx isn't much fond of mushrooms, he understands their importance to Velvet, and so he willingly volunteered to cart around one of her especially picky colonies. It wasn't an entirely one-sided deal, as Velvet finally agreed to let him create her some pieces to wear out of his flowers, something that she had protested against before, believing herself to plain to do them justice. THAT had led to quite the row, one which ended in Nyx proclaiming that if he ever heard her speak so poorly of herself again, he would follow her for an entire fortnight praising her beauty and kindness. Velvet seemed to believe it to be a bluff, but she began to shift the way she spoke of herself all the same. Nyx continued composing poems and songs to her beauty, kindness, generosity, and patience, just in case.

Nyx is never without his clawed gloves, used when handling especially volatile flowers, or whenever he wants to ensure that he gets the cleanest cut possible.
