Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this sensitive dragon wandered a little too far from his home lair (#489967, JellyBeanDragon) and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to his home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Shamu had never been much for romance, but a month after he was born to the day, he found himself in a trading town called Saibhreas, at a hopping tavern. Mead flowed freely, and the lovely innkeeper Vanilla personally introduced him to several notable townsfolk. He met Estelle, the analytical and bewitching treasurer of Saibhreas. She told him about her job overseeing the trading goods that flowed through Saibhreas’s many open air markets, and about all her daring escapes from highwaymen while traveling with a caravan. Apparently on one of these many dangerous expeditions she had nearly been stabbed by a devilishly handsome wildclaw... only for him to reveal himself as an assassin sent to kill her, not rob their party. She had become known throughout the Expanse as an accurate predictor of the economy, and certain suppliers of failing goods wanted her gone. But Solace couldn’t finish his mission once he laid eyes on her...
Entranced, Shamu listened to her tale. It truly sounded like one of adventure! His travels had been nothing near that exciting. But perhaps that was alright. There were so many dragons here, of all sorts of personalities and trades. He could learn something while he stayed, even if it wouldn’t be heartstopping fun.
Across the bar lounged a gorgeous imperial female adorned with feathers of different colors. When he caught her eye his stomach lurched. She winked at him.
Maybe staying here wasn’t such a boring idea after all.
Shamu stayed comfortably in the Saibhreas Travelers' Inn for more than a month, spending every evening chatting with the locals and the other travelers in the town. When Waterlily, a pretty if distant imperial traveler, departed, he realized he had been here the longest of any of the five travelers in the inn. What did that mean?
Over the time that he had lived in the bustling city, he had sired two hatchlings and seen them grow up and depart on their own journeys to neighboring settlements. In a few days, he would have another clutch with Alyeona. Did he feel like settling down, sooner than he had planned? Or is this city just particularly comfortable, especially in the summer?
Despite Shamu's confusion about when to leave Saibhreas and continue his adventure, he did want to ensure he was a good father. His first two children eventually left to pursue their happiness, and his second two children were nearly ready to do the same. He felt his misgivings fade away, and with a heartfelt promise to return to Alyeona, he departed.
