 A H - H A H INCARNATE RACHIS? • ASSASSIN • LIVING CORPSE «- - - - - - - - - - - - - ❖ - - - - - - - - - - - - -» WIP It's a cold noon in the forest, sunlight a lazy drape slumping through the thickets. No sounds except the shuffle of claws on leaves. Distant chirps. Shuffle, another step, another shiff over the undergrowth - and it seems to echo. Another step, another echo. A sniffle cuts the air. Before a response, it becomes a sob. Before a response, it becomes a wail. In a whirlwind, it hits scales, then flesh in a frenzy of scratches, sizzles leaping from the shrieking assault of hot iron and claws. The aggressor's cries are earsplitting, unrelenting with the fury and pain that carries them - there is no end until someone is unmoving on the ground. Thus far, that someone has never been Ah-hah. (dragon life backstory here) The infection glazing his eyes and the rampant fever still warming his body led to the assumption of Fire origins, and so, he was revived as one; this was a grave mistake. When this creature was wrenched from spirit and earth, rather than bolstering with new, scorching power, he suffered. The temperature was unbearable, rendering him on all fours with every body part flat on the ground to dissipate as much of the heat as possible. He never spoke, never ate or drank, constantly murmured a stream of whimpers, and smashed a mirror at the sight of himself. He was a failure in every way. One could say, though, that he had one victory in this part of life - when his revivers tried to kill the useless horror they made, he left them in burned shreds and fled, venturing into the unknown, crying. (brought into the crew stuff here)
