Hara comes from a long line of necromancers and assassins. His mother was a powerful necromancer, able to control and communicate with the dead, while his father was an infamous assassin, hired to kill a dragon's worst enemy. Their children uphold their legacy, each becoming a skilled killer or sorcerer of their own. Along with his siblings, Hara began to hone his powers and skills when he was just a hatchling. Although Hara did not inherit his mother's powers, he still learned various important skills from both parents, such as how to stay hidden by manipulating the shadows or how to identify different kinds of poisons.
Once they are of age, the dragons must decide a path: to follow their mother in the arts of necromancy, or to become a dangerous warrior or assassin like their father. Then, once they receive enough training and are deemed worthy, the children are sent across Sornieth... with various hidden intentions.

Unlike some of his siblings, Hara was not born with innate powers to control the dead, but somehow he still had a knack for magic. He could create magical concoctions and cast spells by following spellbooks. His mother noticed his potential, and took him in to train him. Under his mother's wing, Hara grew his skills and love for magic. It was more difficult for him to practice magic compared to his siblings that were born with this inherent ability, but his passion was unmatched. Day by day, his collection of spells and books grew as he practiced and studied.

However, the more he practiced, the more unsatisfied he felt. It wasn't fair that he didn't get to fully experience everything about magic just because he wasn't born with it. His ability and skill was limited by his genetics. He reached a point where he could no longer grow because of something he couldn't control. He stood by as he watched his siblings thrive while he was stuck in the corner, practicing the same spells every day. He quickly grew jealous and a seed of evil was planted inside him. Hara often thought, "If only I was born with powers. I have the potential to outperform every single one of my siblings!" Multiple times, he considered using a spell that would harm them, just slightly, so that Hara could feel the satisfaction of them falling behind, experiencing the pain that he feels. However, these thoughts were always extinguished whenever his mother would expend her time and energy just to make sure Hara was thriving alongside his siblings. However, there was no denying that a tiny evil within him exists. And, if provoked, that evil has the dangerous potential to grow and consume him.

There is an unstable seed of evil slowly but surely growing inside him, which makes it even more imperative that it is carefully tended to. Hara suspected that his mother knew about this germinating seed of evil. He reasoned that was probably why his mother spent so much time on him - to carefully watch over and grow that evil. After all, if controlled correctly, evil could be a useful weapon. That was why his mother was focused on training Hara.

Soon, Hara finished his training and it was time for him to leave his home. He left, searching for a place where he could make use of that seed of evil, now a beautiful flower bud waiting to bloom.
