Redspirit was once a powerful overlord of a light dragon lair, holding everyone he knew in an iron fist with a twisted combination of blackmail and spies. Vain, narcissistic, and regal, Redspirit forced those who lived under him to live in constant fear. That is, until those who lacked loyalty to him risked everything they had to rip the throne from his cold calculating claws. Now, alone, scarred, torn of his rich and lustrous garb, lair destroyed, pearl cracked, Redspirit wandered the lands as a beggar for years, humbled...(maybe) by his ruining. It wasn't until Redspirit met Beth and Lyssen that he was given a second chance at a new life. Although he is still vain, narcissistic, and willing to blackmail, he no longer wishes to be in a position of power, and over the years, has become quite loyal to Lyssen (although he dislikes children greatly and thinks the orphanage thing is a disgusting waste of space) While his heart is still cold, Redspirit has settled down a bit, and could one day grow to become a better dragon. Redspirit has shunned garb as a sign of his lowly status in relation to other Pearlcatchers, and only wears the simplest clothing when taking a humanoid form. His need for jewellery, however, can never be sated.
