Working adjacent to Mycologist's court, Ascia is a powerful sorceress bound to create wards for Mycologist. Her wards guard the outer tunnels and entrance of the Mushroom Hall and aid to keep out unwanted guests. As an addition to these wards any who wander too close will unknowingly be turned away and 'reminded' that they should not be there. These wards are very powerful and require frequent maintenance to ensure that they will not deteriorate. Due to this, Ascia can often be seen near the Mushroom Hall although she herself is not allowed to enter.

Ascia is also the charge warrior enchantress Emathia. Ascia has taught Emathia quite a bit about magic, mostly defensive magic as that is what she specializes in. Emathia also happens to be a vampire, she chooses to feed mostly on Ascia which means that Ascia is often tired and seen as a low energy type of dragon. Ascia loves Emathia though and would do anything to keep her happy and healthy as long as it doesn't interfere with Mycologist's machinations.

Ascia does not truly ever have time to herself as she is most often trapped by her work, Emathia or both. She can oftentimes be found passed out in odd places as she simply lacks the energy to keep going. One day Ascia knows she will be pushed past her limit and likely die at an early age.
