the Infernal Summit Clan's Dreamsicle Project.

Though they try to be patient - - - try to be kind and understanding, try to keep in mind that these miniature terrors are the next generation and have yet to grasp the minute delicacies of higher society, Rhys is really on their last nerve with these things.
Their annoyed huff as they carefully grasp the smoky ethereal silk is the only warning of a short temper that has reached the end of its leash before they are yanking it out from underneath the claws of the hatchling, sending the tiny creature tumbling tail over horns.
Much to Rhys’ frustration, the terror sprawled out on the ground chortles out hiccups of giggles before bouncing right back up and chasing after the flowing orange fabric once more. It’s only quick reflexes that save Rhys from having a wing pinned beneath playful hatchling paws, and as they flutter up and out of reach of the still-flightless monstrosity (that is now crying out sadly at having lost its play toy) they can’t help but stick out their tongue and rub in their victory.
That is, until they catch the other adults of the clan watching on, bemused at the interaction.
